Metering & UPS Services

Metering is available for time-sensitive First-Class Mail. When you send us a mailing to be metered, postage will be imprinted on each mail piece and sent out the same day we receive it.

A mail meter slip must be included with your mailing.

As we transition to our new system, we ask that you use the specific steps listed below depending on your web browsers. Thank you for your patience as we work through some adjustments.

PC EXPLORER 9 AND 10 USERS:
This new online system will allow you create an address book and each form will have a unique bar code that will track when your mailing was sent out.

  • Select mail meter slip;
  • Login using your Penn State access account;
  • Double click on the desktop folder;
  • Complete and print the form, and include it with your mailing.

Note: Please select compatibility view to access the page. This can be done by selecting tools from the IE toolbar and then selecting compatibility view from the drop down.

You will need to disable pop up blocker to enable printing.

PC INTERNET EXPLORER 11 USERS:
  • Click on Tools
  • Click on Compatibility View Settings
  • Where it says add this website type psu.edu
  • Click on the add button
MAC USERS and NON-PC EXPLORER USERS:
  • Select USPS mailing form;
  • Login using your Penn State access account;
  • Complete and print the form, and include it with your mailing.
UPS MAILINGS:
  • Select UPS shipments form;
  • Login using your Penn State access account;
  • Complete and print the form, and include it with your mailing.
