Pickup & Delivery Mail is picked up from and delivered to most buildings on campus each day. Outbound mail is processed for delivery to the United States Post Office daily. Mail must be received by the following cut-off times in order to go out the same day:
Mail received at Mailing & Addressing after these cut-off times may not be processed until the next business day. If you have First-Class Mail that must go out and you have missed the mail pickup in your building, please bring your mail to Hostetter Business Services Building and we will do our best to send it out the same day.
IS YOUR DEPARTMENT MOVING? Notify Abbas Badani, Director via email at atb10@psu.edu. We’ll need to know who is moving, where they are moving from, where they are moving to, and what the effective date is. Mail, regardless if it first class (USPS) or campus mail, is sorted by department only. We cannot sort by individual names. Once you notify us of your move, we’ll make sure the campus mail drivers get you your mail. It will then be your responsibility to notify everyone you can, to start using your new address on the effective date of your move. You will also need to notify the person responsible for the mail in the building you are moving from and the person responsible for the mail in the building you are moving to. At those two points, the mail is handled on an individual basis and they are the persons responsible for forwarding mail to your new location or returning mail to the sender if necessary and for knowing that you are in the building so your mail does not get returned to the sender for unknown at this address.
